As our Medical Educator, you’ll manage and deliver registrar education and support from program entry to fellowship, including small group learning, practice visits, and assessments. Reporting to the Senior Medical Educator, you’ll build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, working closely with training coordinators to deliver high quality, consistent GP training. Whilst the CESWS subregion is predominantly based in the Sydney area, we strongly encourage applications from GPs located anywhere in the CESWS sub-region especially the Outer Metropolitan areas such as Campbelltown, Liverpool, Sutherland Local Government Areas. Flexible work-from-home arrangements are available, with occasional travel to the North Sydney/Liverpool offices and surrounding training locations as required.
As our Medical Educator, you'll also:
- deliver registrar education and support through group learning, practice visits, and individual mentoring.
- facilitate registrar progress, assessments, and exam readiness, escalating issues as required.
- support supervisors with teaching, professional development, and accreditation requirements.
- build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, practices, and local health stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- RACGP Fellowship and specialist GP registration
- Passion for medical education and registrar support
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Experience in teaching or facilitating learning groups
